Traffic on interface of switch is really low

I am unsure about the rates of traffic I get for my interfaces on my switch. In the picture you can see that the incoming traffic remains under 1 Megabit/s. But I got an internet speed of much more than 1 Megabit/s.

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Permission denied

hi I try to install a centreon on almalunix 8 in virtul machine I follow this tutorial https://docs.centreon.com/docs/installation/installation-of-a-central-server/using-packages/#step-4-web-installation I continue to web installation but when I come to the page “DataBase Information” I have this error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Permission denied The root password is set. Adding new poller (version 22.04.20-1) with RHEL 8

I have working setup of Central and Poller both using 22.04.5-1 version on CentOS7.I'm trying to add new poller with 22.04 version but on RHEL 8.Followed this documentation - https://docs.centreon.com/docs/22.04/installation/installation-of-a-poller/using-packages/ But on new Poller will RHEL 8 - I see centreon version as centreon-poller-22.04.20-1.el8.noarch. All services are running on poller but on Central poller configuration it showing "Is running ? as NO". So, question is central with version "22.04.5-1" will not work with poller version "22.04.20-1"?do they need to be "exactly" the same?

Greetings everyone,i have a strange problem in which i cannot solve, perhaps someone can point in right direction.I’m polling my printer thru snmp with “consum test” command to see whats available to poll:screenshot below shows I’m able to poll listed items such as black toner:my next item i want to poll are the drum status, so:printer or centreon doesn't like the string “Drum Cartridge (R1)”but its listed as that just like Black Toner.However, this string with backslashes works via command line:My problem really is the above command with the backslashes only works with command line, when doing this command via the GUI, it doesn't work, I’m finding the GUI is stripping the backslashes… has anyone come across this or know of a solution/workaround ??

At this moment I’m pretty sure the command is properly formated.However, Never I’ve received a notification sent using this connector.From “Notification side”, here is what I’ve configured.host notifyservice notifyHere is what is logged within centreon-engine.loglog centreon-engine(No output return from plugin is just because of the connection unavailable, as everytime I want the system to use this connector, I cut the network connection within the virtual machine. Problem with my cluster Centreon

Hi, Im currently trying to do a Centreon cluster, with the centreon documentation two nodes.I’m able to do the master and slave replication, so if I ve a host in the master and the master goes down and my slave become the master I can see the host on the centreon interface.But when I do the reserve, so adding a host in my slave when my master is down, then I set my master to up, and I come to see the host on the master the replication is not done i can’t see the host on the master.To conclude replication master to slave OK but replication slave to master NOT OKIf you have any ideas what is going on tell me 🙂 thanks . I get as ouput for an interface this:“Interface '1' Status : up (admin: up), Traffic In : 28.37Kb/s (0.00%), Traffic Out : 215.18Kb/s (0.02%)Interface '1' Status : down (admin: up)” My regex is this ‘^1$’. But I want to match it for the first occurence only so that I get the right output. Thank you for your help

Getting downtimes from the API v2

Hello,I’m getting downtimes using API v2 without problems. I need to filter those downtimes that are really actives, specifically those you can see at ‘Downtimes’ page in the Centreon interface. However, from the API I get many more than the ones I see at ‘Downtimes’ page. How can I get the same result? Which filter do I have to use?I thought the active ones were those with ‘deletion_time’ to NULL or ‘actual_end_time‘ to NULL, but the are a lot with these values that don’yt appear on the interface. So I don’t know how to get the ‘real’ ones.Can you help me?Thanks in advance.Albert

Which proptocol do you use to monitor your Linux hosts ?

Hi,To monitor our Linux Hosts, we are using the agent nrpe :We are using the check_nrpe (Version: 4.0.3) on the Pollers Side, and the old nrpe agent binary (Hosts side).These binaries are issued from a ‘nagios’ git… (hard to maintain - compiled ...etc)We would like to use a more standard “centreon” oriented and supported method (with regular updates). An alternative could be to use this Agentless ssh method :https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-linux-ssh/Also centreon mention nrpe3:https://docs.centreon.com/pp/integrations/plugin-packs/procedures/operatingsystems-linux-snmpv3/… but it seems that the needed packages are not provided any more with version 23.XX (Example : centreon-nrpe3-daemon.x86_64) Also snmp exists but it is not our prefered solution. From you point of view : What is the best recommended standard method by centreon ??Which method is the most used ? Do you think using ssh could lead to potential security risks ??Thanks a l

BUG: Centreon retrieves two states for one interface

I try to monitor interface 1 of an Aruba-Switch-1930. The command which I use is the following:/usr/lib/centreon/plugins//centreon_aruba.pl--plugin=network::aruba::standard::snmp::plugin--mode=interfaces--hostname=10.133.120.240--snmp-version='3'--snmp-community='public'--snmp-username=admin03--authpassphrase="my password"--authprotocol=SHA--privpassphrase="my password"--privprotocol=DES--interface='^1$'--name--add-status--add-traffic--warning-in-traffic='80'--critical-in-traffic='90'--warning-out-traffic='80'--critical-out-traffic='90'--verboseI replaced the authpassphrase and the privpassphrase. The problem with this command is that it returns the following output:There are two states for the same interface. The first one mentioned (Interface ‘1’ Status : up (admin: up) is the right one. However, Centreon uses the second output (Interface: down). How could i change it to make this right? For all other interfaces it functions perfectly.

Hi,Recently i remove all my host drom a template that was use before i started working for my company and wanted to update it/replace it so i did.And now i’m having an issue where some of my host keep the services from the old template and give me information about it and some use the services from my new template.So my question is how can i remove services from an host and how can i do it for all of them.Thanks for you reply.

Or is it possible to submit a result for an active service?Is the REST API the preferred way of doing that? Or NSCP still is the more obvious choice? Is this part of the REST API considered stable? In 22.10? In 23.10?

Server Central Poller not working

Good morning,I migrated Centreon from Centos 7 to Debian 11, everything was going well, but since yesterday, my central server has been in this state. see image above.I did everything: restarted all the services that were active: centreon centengine, gorgoned, cbc, I even restarted the machine. I disabled IPv6. everything but it remained in this state.you have an idea ?

Hello Centreon Slack!I'm on version 22.10.On the Centreon Web interface I have several services in this status. They were configured using cisco_standard template from the plugin packs and are monitoring Traffic Global with a filter for each specific interface.This were created using the discovery feature and started having this issue a short time after the plugin pack license expired but there are other services created in a similiar way still working.I have already cleared the cache files from /var/lib/centreon/centplugins and permissions in that folder set to centreon and centengine. It is also not a storage issue in the server and executing the command through terminal returns the exact same output Thanks in advance

Hi all, i have installed a new centreon 23.10.7 on debian11 and i need to import via awie all the hosts, services, hostgroups etc from old 22.10. i have exported what i needed and i’m importing in the new server. my services export is about 105k rows and the size is 480kb...should i divide those services in more files so it’s a lighter job for centreon or it doesn’t matter? and can i modify the limit of 500kb for the zip file upload?thank you very much
