SSH persistent connections

Hello everyone,I am currently using the Centreon plugin, `centreon_linux_ssh.pl`, which generates multiple SSH connections for each service that is being executed.I am wondering if there is a way to establish persistent SSH connections instead.I noticed that there is a Centreon SSH Connector but But isn't it deprecated.? https://docs-older.centreon.com/docs/centreon-ssh-connector/en/latest/Is it possible to achieve this functionality directly from the Centreon Engine ? xy

Problem getting Centreon montiroing working

Hello, I trying to get Centreon monitoring working and have run into a problem. I have created two server, one for the Central Server and a Polling server but it does not appear to be working as seen in the screen shot below. Poller Down since an upgrade

Hi ! Since an upgrade of Centreon 22.10 to 23.10 and a change of database password, i have a database issue and poller not running all services is up. In central broker master log we have any errors : cat /var/log/centreon-broker/central-broker-master.log[2024-04-08T17:00:23.324+00:00] [tcp] [error] TCP: Connection refused to localhost:5671[2024-04-08T17:00:23.324+00:00] [processing] [error] failover central-broker-master-input: global error: failover: 'central-broker-master-input' cannot connect endpoint.we should not have modified the database at the same time, we modified the passwords in the conf files. Maybe we missed something?Thanks for your help 🙏

Alert only if 2 hosts are down instead of 1

Hi,So we have 2 servers X and Y.If X goes down or Y goes down this can send a alert to a certain contact groupNow if X and Y are down at the same time , we would like to let this trigger an alert to another contact group. Is there a possiblity to setup a check like this that will alert only if X and Y are down?

[LDAP] Group membership set to default when syncing at login

my users are members of A LOT OF GROUPS, so I tried to configure a LDAP filter in the Group Searchex:GROUP FILTER -- (&(ObjectClass=Group)(sAMAccountName=%s)(sAMAccountName=XXX_*))GROUP MEMBER ATTRIBUTE -- memberUSER GROUP ATTRIBUTE -- memberOf It works well when I import a user, the groups assigned are correct, only groups starting with XXX_ are shown in the GROUP LDAP and LINKED TO CONTACT GROUPS  But when the user logs in the LDAP sync occurs, it takes a VERY LONG TIME and all the LINKED TO CONTACT GROUPS is replaced with all the memberships from the Active Directory.New values retrieved from LDAP Group Ldap same as after importIs there a way to keep the synchronization filtered ?

Special character service monitoring

Hi,I am monitoring the services of a server, but it has in its display name, special characters like “ç” and “~” and when I ask to verify the service, it gives the PROBLEM error, which is its way of saying that it did not identify the service.I managed to monitor other services on the same server, but these services did not have a special character.Any tips on how to make centreon identify these special characters?

Send only selected service metrics to Graphite

In my production Centreon server has more than 100K services and I need to send only selected service metrics to Graphite. I’ve tried with Centreon Stream Connector LUA file. but due to heavy count of metrics, process is getting queue. Can someone give me hint to resolve this.

Prometheus expression : always "no expression found"

Hi,I try to use the prometheus expression plugin.First, with a basic query for load average 1m. how to give a access right for a non-admin user to generate a CSV/PNG file.

Dear, Admins,I am an admin user to manage Centeron system who gives the admin right or the non admin right to users to allocate for thier operation works depends on thier title.Regards to this activity, one of the non admin user clamed that he can not generate the CSV/PNG file of the specific device,because of the access right has not given.Therefore, I need to know how to give the access right to generate the CSV/PNG file to those who give the access right to non addmin user.Best Regards, ※The picture below shows the non admin user has denied to generate the CSV file, because of the privilege right has not yet given.

Hello Centreon Community, We’re running some tests on Gitlab, and we want to trigger alarms on Centreon once the tests fails. We didn’t find a plugin that can connect Centreon with Gitlab.Is it possible to create alarms in Centreon through API calls ? Is there another alternative to do so without API calls ?We’re using Centreon 2.8.23

What Monitoring Connectors need a SNMP version 3 template?

Dear Watchers,As I said here, we experimented a new SNMP version 3 template for Linux.We are planning to add similar SNMP version 3 templates to other monitoring connectors to make it easier to use SNMP v3 (I agree it's not ideal to use the $_SERVICEEXTRAOPTION$ macro for that) in more contexts.What I'm proposing you here is to answer to my post by giving:The name of the monitoring connector or the host template you'd like to see support SNMP v3 macros. The desired security levels (noAuthNoPriv, authNoPriv, authPriv).Then we'll prioritize the posts that will receive the highest number of "thumbs up" to deliver new templates in the monitoring connectors.Can’t wait for your suggestions!PS: If what you want is a template that do not exist yet as a monitoring connector, then please use the ideas section!PPS: Please post only one suggestion per post 🙏🏻

Centreon prerequisities : MariaDB repository for RHEL8

probleme installation centreon

Bonjour , je suis nouveau dans l'utilisation de centreon. Je souhaite la tester pour la déployer chez 1 client si elle fonctionne .je rencontre 1 problème pour me connecter au serveur afin d'accéder à la page de configuration. je suis sur la version 23h10 sur VMware (format machine virtuelle). Quand je me connecte avec mon ip ; admin/ Centreon!123 ça ne fonctionne pas . Ensuite j'ai le message utilisateur bloqué .une autre question: Comment mettre l’ip en fixe ? Merci d'avance pour votre aide .

 Hi,We often get issue with custom plugin (or event handlers) implemented in Bash as the behavior between running them manually from the shell behaves differently of when they’re run by the centengine process. I guess this is a normal behavior and related to the login/interactive nature of the shell, which differs in both cases.Does someone is able to bring some precision on the method centengine uses to run the commands?I’m not sure to understand the meaning of the following option in command configuration (picture pasted at the end of the post because it seems I can’t move it between text blocks):Does the description mean it has no influence when using Centreon Engine?Does centengine force the shell to be interactive (and thus loads some environment of the centreon-engine user? How to disable collecting of user statistics to pendo.io

Hi,Although, those two topics:  I still don’t know how to disable this collect.I read the contract we signed and the terms and conditions document has a (dead) link to ceip.centreon.com.https://docs.centreon.com/docs/security/user-data-storage/what-is-centreon-ceipstates it can be disabled.How do I disable (not block) this “feature”?
