Centreon slow queries

monitor reboot of windows servers

Hello all, I am looking for an easy way to monitor windows reboot.I tried to use the uptime template but I don’t know what value I have to put to major any reboot (like one second), I tried to put 1: as critical value but it doesn’t work.Help please thx

Missing SNMP Trap notification of OK state event

I used SNMP trap to monitor the status of switch interface and I observed weird behavior of SNMP trap notification. When the last SNMP trap was in OK state then the next OK state event for another interface was never triggered the alert. I saw that the SNMP trap message output was changed on Centreon monitoring portal but alert was not sent. Please help to advise me what could be the issue. Thanks so much!

Status duration wrong?

Hi,After an upgrade from 22.10.11 to 22.10.15 I can see all the status duration for problems that roughly equal the time since I made the upgrade, not the time the status present.Is it something unavoidable, or is it a new bug? I never noticed this before.Also, a more general question: the old page has both “duration” and “hard duration”. Which one is the unique “duration” on the new page ? Why there aren’t both present anymore?

Centreon plugin centreon_nsclient_restapi.pl reports malformed UTF-8 character

Hi,We use the standard centreon Plugin ‘centreon_nsclient_restapi.pl ‘ (From centreon-plugin-Operatingsystems-Windows-Restapi-20230912-083720.el8.noarch)… to run multiple scripts on our remote servers.One of the script (powershell) reads and reports some log file content …. It is executed on a Windows 2019 serveur (The standard encoding on the powershell is UTF-8). The log file is a standard .txt file: If the logs files contains a line like :“ven. 2023-12-01 10:50:04    ERROR    Export_LyncCtrlDeviations    Nombre d'erreurs à vérifier”The result is : UNKNOWN: Cannot decode json response: malformed UTF-8 character in JSON string, at character offset 191 (before "\x{fffd}0080\x{fffd}...") at /usr/lib/centreon/plugins/centreon_nsclient_restapi.pl line 162. The debug mode shows that It receives the string : ‘à vérifier’, like :      ▒\u0080▒ v▒\u0080\u009Arifier If I just remove the accented characters fron the file…. the plugins works well.“ven. 2023-12-01 10:50:04    ERROR    Export_Lync

German translation for Centreon

Hello everyone!I’ve recently started translating the Centreon project into the german language. As I’m sure that there’ll be quite a few questions that’ll come up in the process, I am creating this topic.In this topic, I’ll briefly describe the process of how I’m approaching the translation. Additionally, I will describe problems or questions that I’ve encountered. ApproachMy approach is relatively simple to summarize: So far, I’ve simply followed the dev guide on how to translate the Centreon project. WSMAN issue

Hi All,Anyone encountering this output on centreon, everytime WSMAN renew ticket, CPU usage on centreon perfmon peaks out and then normalize again, Which messed up the utilization of that server.  Appreciate your response.

Remote script not executed when launch by GUI but works from poller

Hello,I have a strange behavior, I have a script that was working well since months on my clients, now I simply add an echo in a file within the script to confirm and realize that script is not launched at all.When i take the command executed (the one displayed in console) and launch it as user centreon-engine directly in poller’s terminal, script is launched and the echo works…I’m currently wondering what I miss.Thx for your help.

Retrieving Host Groups and Associated Hosts via Centreon API

"Hello,I am working on generating KPIs on our Centreon platform (prod and dev) using the Centreon API. My goal is to retrieve the list of host groups with their associated hosts, both enabled and disabled.I have followed the documentation provided here: link to documentation. However, I am facing difficulties. I am working with Centreon 22.04.7.Is it possible to achieve this operation with API v1? I have successfully followed the steps in the documentation to generate a token; however, retrieving the list of host groups is not working as expected.Below is an excerpt of the Python script I used to generate the token,If you have any advice or guidance on how to obtain the list of host groups with their associated hosts, I would appreciate your assistance.Thank you,

Centreon API - post request to set downtime NOT working

Dear Centreon Community members, I'm struggling with the centreon API usage for a specific task: "setting a downtime"  1. I'm able to use the basic auth to get a token1. use this token to do several API calls like checking the API version, get host id, etc.1. CentSoc - Add Cybersecurity to Centreon via Wazuh

Hi everyone,I wanted to present to you a Centreon module we developed to add a cybersecurity layer on Centreon, named CentSocCentSoc uses the Wazuh Manager API to display the scan results provided by the Wazuh Agents on the Centreon UIYou can use it if you have a Wazuh installed on your environment, and if you want to test it, you can just install the Wazuh Manager (Wazuh Dashboard and Indexer not mandatory)You just have to link a Wazuh agent to a Centreon Host with a simple macro and CentSoc will display several informations, like vulnerabilities, conformity scans results and file integrityThis module will be open-source (we didn't post source yet) We will do a demo on LinkedIn the July 7 here (in french)Don't hesitate to come take a look 😀

Bonjour à Tous ! 😊 Ceci est ma première question sur ce forum, n’hésitez pas à me dire s’il manque des infos.Je cherche à effectuer l’action suivante, mais via Rest API : Il faut que l’hôte réactualise les services liés aux modèles nouvellement attribués.Mais je ne trouve rien dans les documentations Centreon concertant cette option Rest API.(Une déclaration supplémentaire serait à ajouter dans la partie « body » de la requête Rest API ?)Merci pour vos retours.Bonne journées à Tous !

duplicated service_id for many services at configuration export.

 i’ve strange issue.i noticed i have many services with same service_id on database. if i clear database, those can recreated with same service_id from services.cfg after export. How or where can i clean it?

MySQL Tables Structure

Hi Team, Good Day. One of our clients use MySQL database for storing Centreon related data. We tried to get exact tables where Centreon monitoring data like CPU, Memory, Disk space of host servers are stored into MySQL database but not found any clues. Can anyone please share the links / documentation having these useful tables information? Thank you.

How can i reset my Database

Hello, I recently tried to upgrade my Centreon from CentOS to an AlmaLinux OVF provided on the Centreon website. But without success, after a discussion with my manager we agreed to start again from scratch our centreon because it would be much cleaner and efficient to start again on healthy bases.My question is, do you know a way to start from scratch with an existing Centreon? Some kind of way to erase my database and have a blank one as if I were starting Centreon.I currently have access to my web interface, I use mysql, my almalinux is in version 8.8. Thanks a lot!

cannot access monitoring dashboard after migrating from centos (22.10.7) to debian (23.04.6)

Hi,  i followed the documentation to migrate my centreon from centos 7 to debian 11. When I log in to the new centreon with the default admin account, I get stuck on that error :I usually log in with LDAP user which is already configured, but got the same error. Stream connector | Elastic events and custom events

HI Everyone, I would like to known if one of you have already setup a custom elastic events using elastic stream connector ? I want to add 1 field on the default payload.  As mention in the documentation I created the .json file bellow (with readable access for centreon-broker user, stored on /etc/centreon-broker/ and its seems that the json file is not read by centreon-broker. When I check the elastic-events logfile and the detailed of the playload sent to elastic.
