Using AD groups for Permissions to Centreon

This might be a silly question, but we are trying to get permissions working with AD groups. We’ve got everything setup and if we add by user account everything works fine with the Access Groups, Resources, etc.. However if we try and add a AD group, no one can login. I’ve tried many different combinations and locations where to add this group but nothing seems to work. I assume based on the Users, and the filter string that groups do not work, is that correct? Or is it something I am just missing on how to assign permissions to AD groups?Thanks in advance, Matt

Hi all,I’m looking for any documentation on how to be able to login to Centreon using Google autentication.I have found this documentation : https://docs.centreon.com/current/en/connect/openid.html but I don’t know how to configure it for Google.Thanks

Problème "La connexion a été réinitialisée" sur l'interface web Centreon

Bonjour,Je suis en train de tester des plugin packs sur mon serveur de test, jusqu’à hier tout marche bien.Mais depuis ce matin j’ai un problème étrange en modifiant un hôte ou un service. En fait si je clique sur “sauvegarder” après avoir modifié la conf d’un service ou d’un hôte, j’aurai un écran comme ça :Par contre je peux modifier les conf de “Notification”, “Utilisateurs”,etc. Ce n’est que la conf dans la partie “Service” et “Hôte” qui me pose problème.Est-ce qu’il s’agit d’un problème niveau BDD?Merci d’avance.

Installation phpmyadmin

Bonjour,Ma question n’est pas directement liée à centreon mais je pense pourra aider les non expert de Centos.J’utilise Centreon 21.10 (ISO 21.04 de base).Il y a quelques mois j’avais réussi à installer phpmyadmin non sans mal …En utilisant les packages rh-php73 etc… j’ai supprimé php 7.3 depuis, j’avais plusieurs versions de php en fait. J’avais du mettre une conf php ici : /opt/rh/httpd24/root/etc/httpd/conf.d sinon phpmyadmin ne marchait pas. J’aimerais éviter d’avoir de nouveau plusieurs versions de php.Tout semble fonctionner normalement, je suis en php 8, sauf que phpmyadmin n’interprète plus le php (page blanche, juste le html)Comment faire pour que phpmyadmin trouve php correctement ?Merci

Hi, In first time my appologize for my bad english.I try to install a clean version of Centreon 21.10 in a physical machine.I follow this tutorial: Using Centreon ISO · Centreon documentation but without yum update because se computer don’t have internet acces for the moment.After a reboot, I continue to web installation but when I come to the page “DataBase Information” I have this error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1698] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'Password Is ok, I have try to dowload and install again but result is same.Can you help me for that?Thanks in advance.Regards,Jérome

Bug since update to Centreon 21.04.9

Hi,i upgraded to Centreon 21.04.9 from 21.04 and now i have the error message “ when i go on administration interface “Oops something went wrong”. I don't see where i have to look in the logs to try to find where the error came from.Thanks for your help. Regards.

Centreon 21.10

Bonjour euh je fait mes premiers pas dans Centreon.j’ai installer Centreon 21.10 sur centOs7 mais j’ai des soucis avec mes configurations.je ne sais pas si c’est possible de le demander ici mais je tente quand même.Lorsque j’éssaie de rédémarrer mon server ce message s’affiche:Job for httpd24-httpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status httpd24-httpd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. merci de bien vouloir m’aider svp

No output returned from plugin - Bash plugin

Hello,I tried to add a traceroute plugin (a bit old, found on internet). Within CLI the command works great but Centreon told me there is no output returned. I assume there is an issue with the exit command. SummaryA zero-day exploit for a vulnerabilities in Apache versions less than 2.4.52 (CVE-2021-44790 & CVE-2021-44224) was publicly released on December 23rd, 2021. A detailed description of the vulnerabilities can be found here:CVE-2021-44790 CVE-2021-44224Centreon conducted an initial assessment across the codebase to determine the impact of this vulnerability. Impact CVE-2021-44790 A carefully crafted request body can cause a buffer overflow in the mod_lua multipart parser (r:parsebody() called from Lua scripts). The Apache httpd team is not aware of an exploit for the vulnerabilty though it might be possible to craft one. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.51 and earlier. Centreon does not use mod_lua for its default Apache configuration. How to move a little of disk space from */centos-root to */centos-home

Hi all!.How can i move a disk space from /dev/mapper/centos-home to /dev/mapper/centos-root ?I checked with df -h and my centos-root is almost full. I think that when it reaches 100% some process will not load.I dont know wich files is on centos-root, maybe mysql?Can you help me with the correct process to do that?, y dont want to lose all my performance data using a third web tutorial.I´m using Centreon V20.04 and installed via package. The VM and space is all destinated for centreon central.Thanks for your help.

How to handle multiple notification

Hello !We used centreon open source in our company and I have one difficulty with the notification.We have one central for production servers and another for everything else.Off production we have multiple environment like (development, qualification, integration and so on….)We needs to notifiy different service or people on some service depending on the environment.For example:When a queue rabbit is critical on dev notify dev teams.On qualification notify the business team of this environment etc…Today with the heritage of service template I didn’t found a valid solution.The only thing I find to manage my needs is to manage individually notification in service by host menu, service by service, but when you have hundreds edit it through the interface can take a lot of time.And I think it’s not so visual to see the notification process.The needs of sending the notification is established case by case so I cannot having a predefined list of people to notify.What is the best way to manage

Problem in Widget Preferences (hostMulti)

Hello,I'm having a problem developing my widget. When I configure my configs.xml file, I add an input like this:<preference label="List Host Name" name="list_host" defaultValue="" type="hostMulti" header="Test"/>When i fill it in like this and click on apply, host id are sent. But when I go back to widget preferences,  hosts I entered have disappeared and I get this kind of error :You should know that when I only put one host in the input, no error is displayed the input of the hosts does not work, but the input of the hostgroups (bellow) works very well.<preference label="List Hostgroup Name" name="list_hostgroup" defaultValue="" type="hostGroupMulti" header="Test"/>Do you have any idea where the problem comes from?

Hello ,I have a problem with a plugins, when I test in command line, I have the good result.But in centreon it's always (No output returned from plugin).I would like to capture this return text to interact with.Is there an activation possible in the parameters? For me it allows me to filter in ServiceNow and to process these alerts under different methods.

Does Centreon have a network config backup module?

Wondering if this product has any capability to log into Cisco devices (or others) and grab the running and startup configs for backup and auditing purposes.Even better if it also includes config change auditing and comparisons. We’d be interested in logging into and grabbing config backups for the following platforms:Cisco IOS-XR, CIsco IOS-XE, Cisco Nexus NX-OS, Palo Alto NGFW’s, Accedian devices.

Airgap Deploiement

Normally, Centreon installation need an Internet Access just after the installation to update RPM package, check the license or download Plugin Pack.Unfortunately, High secured supervision platforms can have restricted or forbidden Internet Access (even with a proxy)It will be interesting to create an Air gap procedure to install, update et maintain this kind of configuration.Right now, creating a private rpm repo is not a problem with an FTP/HTTP server, but the license check and PP download could be tricky.Is there any clue about this?
