Bug since update to Centreon 21.04.9

Hi,i upgraded to Centreon 21.04.9 from 21.04 and now i have the error message “ when i go on administration interface “Oops something went wrong”. I don't see where i have to look in the logs to try to find where the error came from.Thanks for your help. Regards.

Hello, Is there a method to get graphs/rrd from an external site ?For my customer’s extranet i want to display some graphs about equipement. I’m using APIv2 REST.But nothing about RRD/Graphs in official documentation… Regards,

Do ping is required to monitor host status.

Hello We are deploying a centreon community edition. However in our environment ping is disabled as a security guidelines. We have added few hosts for the monitoring and as ping is disabled the host status is showing down. Please let me know is there any other way out to address this issue.

[Known issue] Broker might take a very long time to start completely

This issue should be fixed very soon, but I prefer signaling it here: on Centreon platforms having tens of thousands services and using the BAM module, the central broker daemon needs time to completely load its cache due to SQL queries that take too long to return the cache entries.The symptoms are that after a restart of the `cbd` service, the “last update” time will remain frozen for each poller for a while, and the “top counter” icon in the black banner will warn you that some pollers are not up-to-date.Once the cache is loaded, the broker daemon will catch-up handling the monitoring data and will work properly.The team is actively working on this issue and a fix will soon be released (before the end of January, hopefully). This issue is also referenced here (French version here).Fix release status:centreon-broker-20.10.11: Released centreon-broker-21.04.6: Released centreon-broker-21.10.1: Released

Only send hosts/services with notification enabled in StreamConnector

Hi, We test differents solutions to manage on-call. For the moment, we’ve tried SreamConnector for PagerDuty, OPSGenie and Signl4.We would like to send in StreamConnecter only hosts and services with notifications enabled. It’s possible to do that? Thanks,

Volatile and Flapping

Ciao!My question start from a passive service in relation with the traps linkDown and linkUpFrom test, and reading the centreon-engine code, it seems that Volatile is checked before Flapping.Because Passive Service are usually, and by default with plugin pack, with “Is Volatile = Yes”, the notification filter of flapping state is never executed.https://github.com/centreon/centreon-engine/blob/develop/src/notifier.cc#L278So, in my case, when an interface start to flapping, the service also become in flapping state, but the engine still sent the notification.What do you think of change the engine, notification section, so it will check flapping before volatile?

Centreon 21.10

Bonjour euh je fait mes premiers pas dans Centreon.j’ai installer Centreon 21.10 sur centOs7 mais j’ai des soucis avec mes configurations.je ne sais pas si c’est possible de le demander ici mais je tente quand même.Lorsque j’éssaie de rédémarrer mon server ce message s’affiche:Job for httpd24-httpd.service failed because the control process exited with error code. See "systemctl status httpd24-httpd.service" and "journalctl -xe" for details. merci de bien vouloir m’aider svp

No output returned from plugin - Bash plugin

Hello,I tried to add a traceroute plugin (a bit old, found on internet). Within CLI the command works great but Centreon told me there is no output returned. I assume there is an issue with the exit command. SummaryA zero-day exploit for a vulnerabilities in Apache versions less than 2.4.52 (CVE-2021-44790 & CVE-2021-44224) was publicly released on December 23rd, 2021. A detailed description of the vulnerabilities can be found here:CVE-2021-44790 CVE-2021-44224Centreon conducted an initial assessment across the codebase to determine the impact of this vulnerability. Impact CVE-2021-44790 A carefully crafted request body can cause a buffer overflow in the mod_lua multipart parser (r:parsebody() called from Lua scripts). The Apache httpd team is not aware of an exploit for the vulnerabilty though it might be possible to craft one. This issue affects Apache HTTP Server 2.4.51 and earlier. Centreon does not use mod_lua for its default Apache configuration. How to move a little of disk space from */centos-root to */centos-home

Hi all!.How can i move a disk space from /dev/mapper/centos-home to /dev/mapper/centos-root ?I checked with df -h and my centos-root is almost full. I think that when it reaches 100% some process will not load.I dont know wich files is on centos-root, maybe mysql?Can you help me with the correct process to do that?, y dont want to lose all my performance data using a third web tutorial.I´m using Centreon V20.04 and installed via package. The VM and space is all destinated for centreon central.Thanks for your help.

FILTER in widget from custom view doesn't show my hostgroups

Hi, I’m using Centreon 21.04 and I try to manage my hostgroups from the custom view.I have a few groups of hosts that end up with ctx2k8 and I'd like to display them in my custom viewSo I added the widget hostgroupmonitoring and configured it as follows :But nothing works.Do you know how I could do that? Knowing that nothing changes even if I move the % everywhere ahah.Thanks Edit1: Just for you to be informed, a few days ago I updated from version 19.10 to 20.04.

Exclamation mark (!) not supported as argument in Services by host group

We recently started over with Centreon 21.10.1 to replace our Centreon 2.5.2 as a front-end for Nagios. While setting up the new system, we ran into a bug. In v2.5.2, we were able to escape the special character “!” in check command args for Services by host group. In v21.10.1, using “!” or “\!” as an arg value is simply stripped when saving configuratin. We have a very widespread SNMP community name that contains a “!” character.The check command is quite simple “$USER1$/check_snmp -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C $ARG1$ -o .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.1.0 -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$ -l 'Adv. Battery Capacity' -u '%'” with “$ARG1$ being the SNMP community string.

Session expiration

Hi !For my monitor screen which is started during working hours, I need a session that never expires.However, the value of the "Session expiration time" parameter is 120 minutes maximum.Is there a way to get a session that never expires ?I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who wants a dashboard on the wall all day :)I use Centreon 21.10.Thanks in advance !

HelloAfter installing version 21.10.1, it does not allow me to enter and tells me your credentials are incorrect. I have changed the password of the user in the database but it keeps saying the same thing. Can someone help me?

API Authentication failed flood login.log file

Hello,My Centreon 21.04.9 seem to works fine but when i see login.log file, there are many of this lines :2021-12-12 03:49:11|0|0|0|[API] [127.0.0.1] Authentication failed for 'admin' How can i fix it please ? There is one line per minutes.

Centreon is not updating Nagios files

Collecteur pas en cours d'execution

Bonjour à tous,Je viens d’installer Centreon IT 100 en version 21.10 sur une VM RHEL 8 grace au packet RPM en suivant à la lettre les instructions de la doc Centreon (version : bd + web + poller local)Aucune erreur lors de l’installation, ouverture et configuration de la page web ok.Par contre le collecteur (poller) refuse de démarrer “en cours d’exécution : NON” malgrès qu’il soit bien actif.J’ai vu beaucoup d’infos sur le net, mais aucunes n’a pu me resoudre le problèmeLe service centengine se lancait avec des erreurs, j’ai vu qu’il fallait que j’installe nagios core et que je change le path de la variable $USER1$.Maintenant tous mes services se lancent correctement :Centengine, sbd, gorgoned etc. semble running et okJ’ai désactivé les sécurités :SELinux et firewalld : disabledMAIS LE POLLER REFUSE DE DEMARRER …Il semblerait que je n’ai pas de flux TCP en faisant un tcp dumpet lorsque je fais :netstat -plant | egrep '5556|5669'tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:5669            0.0.0.0:*

How to handle multiple notification

Hello !We used centreon open source in our company and I have one difficulty with the notification.We have one central for production servers and another for everything else.Off production we have multiple environment like (development, qualification, integration and so on….)We needs to notifiy different service or people on some service depending on the environment.For example:When a queue rabbit is critical on dev notify dev teams.On qualification notify the business team of this environment etc…Today with the heritage of service template I didn’t found a valid solution.The only thing I find to manage my needs is to manage individually notification in service by host menu, service by service, but when you have hundreds edit it through the interface can take a lot of time.And I think it’s not so visual to see the notification process.The needs of sending the notification is established case by case so I cannot having a predefined list of people to notify.What is the best way to manage

Problem in Widget Preferences (hostMulti)

Hello,I'm having a problem developing my widget. When I configure my configs.xml file, I add an input like this:<preference label="List Host Name" name="list_host" defaultValue="" type="hostMulti" header="Test"/>When i fill it in like this and click on apply, host id are sent. But when I go back to widget preferences,  hosts I entered have disappeared and I get this kind of error :You should know that when I only put one host in the input, no error is displayed the input of the hosts does not work, but the input of the hostgroups (bellow) works very well.<preference label="List Hostgroup Name" name="list_hostgroup" defaultValue="" type="hostGroupMulti" header="Test"/>Do you have any idea where the problem comes from?

Hello ,I have a problem with a plugins, when I test in command line, I have the good result.But in centreon it's always (No output returned from plugin).I would like to capture this return text to interact with.Is there an activation possible in the parameters? For me it allows me to filter in ServiceNow and to process these alerts under different methods.
