Perfdata and graph visualization

Graph Negative Value

Hello ,I try to graph NTP offset oscilliation , and my plugin return one perfdata that could be positve or negative.On Centreon , every time my offset go to negtive , it broke the graph On our old system pnp4nagios it work and look like this:Any idea ?

Host performance are useless ?

Is there any configuration to graph ping host performance data .All my are populated with perfdatas ,But i see no graph …Any idea ?

Do ping is required to monitor host status.

Hello We are deploying a centreon community edition. However in our environment ping is disabled as a security guidelines. We have added few hosts for the monitoring and as ping is disabled the host status is showing down. Please let me know is there any other way out to address this issue.

[Known issue] Broker might take a very long time to start completely

This issue should be fixed very soon, but I prefer signaling it here: on Centreon platforms having tens of thousands services and using the BAM module, the central broker daemon needs time to completely load its cache due to SQL queries that take too long to return the cache entries.The symptoms are that after a restart of the `cbd` service, the “last update” time will remain frozen for each poller for a while, and the “top counter” icon in the black banner will warn you that some pollers are not up-to-date.Once the cache is loaded, the broker daemon will catch-up handling the monitoring data and will work properly.The team is actively working on this issue and a fix will soon be released (before the end of January, hopefully). This issue is also referenced here (French version here).Fix release status:centreon-broker-20.10.11: Released centreon-broker-21.04.6: Released centreon-broker-21.10.1: Released

Volatile and Flapping

Ciao!My question start from a passive service in relation with the traps linkDown and linkUpFrom test, and reading the centreon-engine code, it seems that Volatile is checked before Flapping.Because Passive Service are usually, and by default with plugin pack, with “Is Volatile = Yes”, the notification filter of flapping state is never executed.https://github.com/centreon/centreon-engine/blob/develop/src/notifier.cc#L278So, in my case, when an interface start to flapping, the service also become in flapping state, but the engine still sent the notification.What do you think of change the engine, notification section, so it will check flapping before volatile?

Exclamation mark (!) not supported as argument in Services by host group

We recently started over with Centreon 21.10.1 to replace our Centreon 2.5.2 as a front-end for Nagios. While setting up the new system, we ran into a bug. In v2.5.2, we were able to escape the special character “!” in check command args for Services by host group. In v21.10.1, using “!” or “\!” as an arg value is simply stripped when saving configuratin. We have a very widespread SNMP community name that contains a “!” character.The check command is quite simple “$USER1$/check_snmp -H $HOSTADDRESS$ -C $ARG1$ -o .1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.1.2.2.1.0 -w $ARG2$ -c $ARG3$ -l 'Adv. Battery Capacity' -u '%'” with “$ARG1$ being the SNMP community string.

Collecteur pas en cours d'execution

Bonjour à tous,Je viens d’installer Centreon IT 100 en version 21.10 sur une VM RHEL 8 grace au packet RPM en suivant à la lettre les instructions de la doc Centreon (version : bd + web + poller local)Aucune erreur lors de l’installation, ouverture et configuration de la page web ok.Par contre le collecteur (poller) refuse de démarrer “en cours d’exécution : NON” malgrès qu’il soit bien actif.J’ai vu beaucoup d’infos sur le net, mais aucunes n’a pu me resoudre le problèmeLe service centengine se lancait avec des erreurs, j’ai vu qu’il fallait que j’installe nagios core et que je change le path de la variable $USER1$.Maintenant tous mes services se lancent correctement :Centengine, sbd, gorgoned etc. semble running et okJ’ai désactivé les sécurités :SELinux et firewalld : disabledMAIS LE POLLER REFUSE DE DEMARRER …Il semblerait que je n’ai pas de flux TCP en faisant un tcp dumpet lorsque je fais :netstat -plant | egrep '5556|5669'tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:5669            0.0.0.0:*

UNKNOWN: SNMP GET Request : Timeout

Hi community!I have a Windows host that is being monitored by snmp, I have all disk, uptime, cpu, memory and so on, but in some point of the day I get:   UNKNOWN: SNMP GET Request : Timeout , BUT not for all services, just for a couple of them in random way.Any idea why I am having behavior ?

Proc-centengine service, return values > 1

Hello everybody, I’m back in the company where I did install a Centreon. As nobody touched it since I left, it need some ‘refreshing’ I have an issue with the service mesuring the number of process for centengine. Centreon broker graphite install

Hello ,I cannot install the centre-broker-graphite module (Centreon 21-10, iso centreon CentOS7). The error (dependency) : -Need: centreon-broker-core = 21.10.0-2.el7-Installé  : centreon-broker-core-21.10.0-4.el7.x86_64Is someone have a solution ? Thank you.

About centreon-collect, the new Github repository for Data Collection
